For over 20 years, I have been within a niche category of fashion. Showing at unique trade shows like Curate, SHWRM, and Atelier in New York. Showrooms in California, Dallas, and Chicago.

The industry of niche, is experiencing a pivotal time. We need to explore our infrastructure and how it can possibly change to meet the demands of our wonderful consumer.​​​​

Our start in the industry:

2005

The design and creation of each garment is drafted, manipulated, and constructed within the studio in Michigan. Through revisions and changes, Tina's team completes the prototype. These samples are then used through the manufacturing process.

All orders were received and directed to our workrooms. Each garment was either cut and sewn to order.  Store orders were made on demand and included multiple sizes and styles. Certain high-demand pieces were created for inventory and, ready to ship.

2023​

Not able to keep up with demand, I began the search for a factory or boutique manufacturing plant with the highest quality in their staffing, their environment, and, of course, their work. I found Mona and her daughter, who have treated me so well. Their team is accommodating to my needs and wishes, they produce beautiful garments with finished seams, and attention to all the little details I request. Fabrics are printed or dyed to specification, and they can do what my in-house studio could not.

Garments are sampled, sent to me for approval and photography. then, we proceed to sales for wholesale customers. Invest in trade shows, travel, time, and effort to get into your favorite stores. We have also developed a direct to customer, because so many consumers are changing their buying habits.

We at TG Studios maintain an organic and sustainable process with the highest standards and attention to sustainability.

All materials used are sourced for manufacturers practicing sustainability and diligence in selecting raw materials. This includes textiles, trim, natural material in buttons and other embellishments, thread, and equipment.
